Temacon Engineering Sdn Bhd successfully carried out its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme at SJK (C) Hwa Lien Pulau Ketam on 1 April 2026, benefiting a total of 83 students and 16 teachers.

The one day programme focused on promoting electrical safety awareness among primary school students through engaging and interactive activities. A team of 12 Temacon staff participated in the initiative, bringing the total number of participants to 111.

The highlight of the programme was an Electrical Safety Talk, where students were introduced to basic safety practices when dealing with electrical equipment. This was complemented by hands-on demonstrations of construction tools and personal protective equipment (PPE), giving students practical exposure to real-world applications.

To make the learning experience more engaging, Temacon also introduced a Virtual Reality (VR) Camera Experience. Students and teachers had the opportunity to explore immersive simulations, helping them better understand safety practices in a fun and modern way.

In addition to the educational sessions, students actively participated in quizzes, reinforcing their understanding of the topics covered. Gifts were distributed as rewards, encouraging participation and enthusiasm throughout the programme.

The event also included speeches by Temacon’s management team and the school’s headmaster, followed by group photo sessions and a school tour for the visiting team.

This CSR initiative not only provided valuable knowledge but also created meaningful interactions between industry professionals and students, leaving a positive and lasting impact on the Pulau Ketam community.
